Let the boiler cool down, take the glass out again, put a bucket under the valve and open the bottom sight glass valve. Stick a wire into it and open any clog (the inlet may be pluged). Oct 12, 2015 · The boiler was al scaled up, the bolt from the bottom opening to the sight glass was almost completely covered. But the solution did enter the sightglass. There is still some scale left, but my boiler turned into a salmon pink color (probably copper re-deposit) because of descaling so I'm not sure how to proceed.
